HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

This carrier is a joke. I have had nothing but problems with them since day one and I have had the phone for months. The first phone I got wouldn't let me get messages after 2 days. When I called the customer service for the 3rd time they told me that phone was defected and they were replacing them as customers called in and complained. After calling them 4 or 5 times they finally got it transferred to the new phone. I got a droid when they came out, and again a hassle to transfer. Now they keep shutting my phone off because they said my number is a number I don't even have so when I add airtime it's going to that number instead. So to correct the problem I had to buy another air time card so I was then paid for 2 months but kept shutting my off twice a day for 2 weeks. We thought they finally got it fixed but then again shut my phone off and nobody can seem to fix the problem. My number on my account is still this mysterious number that someone else answers when you call it. NOT GOOD!!!

I have had my Net 10 phone for 6-8 months and never had a real problem with it. When I transferred my number, I found out it became owned by AT&T. In other words, they are owned by AT&T. Net 10, Straight Talk and Tracphone are all the same company. So those on here who say one of those is better don't have a clue. The customer service is horrid, if you are good with a computer you will never even need to talk to them, because you will be able to do all activation and number transferring online. But my father had problems transferring his number to tracphone which is once again same company and same customer service alone with Straight talk. It was terrible, they tried to say since his simm chip was activated with a different phone number that they could not change it to his prior number. After about an hour of fighting with them because it was their fault that it got activated with the wrong number. I was finally able to find someone there that was able to change the phone number on the simm to his old one. He initially called in to activate and the activation rep messed up, it surely didn't help that he is over 60, so if you are old and not good with this stuff ask a young person for help activating and you should be just fine. As for those who complain about the andriod stuff, until the 2x comes out they have yet to carry a well reviewed andriod phone. before you buy a particular phone you should always google the model number and watch and read the reviews. Some phones are made cheaply, and this includes the low end android models. I have considered getting one but the reviews told me to wait cuz the next generation of low end androids are going to be better. And the reviews of the LG Optimus 2x are way better than the previous offerings from straight talk and Net 10.

Loved Net10 until I bought a Droid smart phone. The reps can't seem to fix my problem and it seems mostly because thier computer systems are lacking. I have spent hours on hold. I feel bad for the reps they are nice people with a dilapedated organazation.

Terrible Experience, would not recommend!

Customer service representative hardly spoke English. I Explained that I wanted a certain phone but only if it did no run on sprint towers; she assured me the phone ran on Verizon towers. So I ordered it and she offered me overnight shipping and explained that I would have it the next day. Phone did not show up the next day, so I called. I was told that I didn't even have an order in, yet my credit card had been charged. Well the phone showed up three days later and of coarse it ran on sprint towers. So I called them back very upset. I was told I needed to send it back. I never got to use the phone and had to pay ten dollars to send it back and 14 for overnight shipping that never happened. So nearly 25 dollars for a phone that I never got to use and terrible customer service and I was lied to many times throughout the ordeal. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, save your time and money!

i've been trying to switch my number and service for two days!...i've been on hold (still holding)for two hours!they have agents that do not speak english,although they are very nice..i do not recommend NET 10!

LOVED NET 10 ... TILL I GOT A NEW ONE!

I have had a net 10 phone for like 5 years. never a problem...service great... i have seen other phones not work in certain areas...but mine did.. decided to upgrade to get internet service... liked it till i dropped it once and now it does NOT work... my old one had been dropped 1000 times...washed dried and never gave out on me once. so much for a new phone.

I have been with ALL Major carriers with Sprint being the last, which made me vow I will NEVER get stuck in a contract with bad service again. So I have tried quite a few prepaid services and like Net10 the best. the only draw back customer service and 411. But I have found my own solution look the # up on the internet browser. So I don't use 411 anymore & the service is great crystal clear. I have the LG900g and it works very well. But they are right NET10 customer service is horrible. They need to repair that!!!

STAY AWAY NET 10 SUCKS!

STAY AWAY FROM NET10 PRE-PAID PHONES nothing but problems..........no one speaks english, customer service stinks, phone constantly deactivates, automatic enrollment charges to the credit card on time every month but not to the phone service. HUGE HEADACHE!
