metro pcs is the worst phone company

Posted on: August 22nd, 2013 by rachel harris

An employee got my phone stuck in high security mode, I can't get into my account and there is no other way to get into it. I have family members on my phone plan, bill already paid, phone's don't work. They scammed us big time. Hard earned money at minimum wage taken from us

great phone, friendly/fast customer service, occasional dropped call

Posted on: August 19th, 2013 by Large Marge

my first smartphone. been struggling slightly with call quality (cuts in and out sometimes) and it's dropped about 5% of calls.... i don't know with what this has to do but it's not the end of the world. customer service is way more prompt than what i'm used to, just press zero from the main to get a human, then almost no time on hold and to the point... also delighted to have a smartphone finally. it's a nokia lumia, sooo nicely designed, attractive and easy to use. it's been a week, and i have pulled my hair out only slightly so far, less than anticipated, the phone was a hundred bucks and the plan $40 for unlimited everything. not as good reception as my flimsy old virgin mobile flip phone, but so many more features and only a few dollars a month more. not perfect but a good deal, couldn't have done better, other than avoiding smartphones entirely..... which maybe is the answer if you're not made of money.... just be aware you have ONE HOUR TALK TIME to decide if you want to return it for your money back!! after 60 minutes you're committed... no one told me this upon buying it, and i might have returned it because of the bad reception (i'm a BROKE perfectionist)... tough titties to me, but still not a bad deal considering the options if you can't afford an iphone.

They love money!

Posted on: June 26th, 2013 by Maria M. Santiago

I paid $370.00 for my phone and they told me to fill up some paper and send it by mail that they will return $70.00 dollars by mail in rebate its already 4 month and nothing about money. Then I paid $53.00 for a whole month and they stop my service 4 days before the month. Thats what I called a bunch of CROOKS!!!

I need to go to New York in order to change my number?

Posted on: June 24th, 2013 by Amy Lynn Chiappiniello

I live in CT and at first, they were great. However, the phone I was using was horrible and I wanted a real phone. So when I decided to switch to a new company because I wanted an ipohne; all my information I put down was inaccurate. First lady I talked to hung up on me and the second guy said I would have to go to New York. All I wanted to do was transfer my number to my new phone at a different company. I went to the store where I originally signed up and all the information I put down was brushed aside. They put down the stores information including its birthday. They didn't even ask for an ID when I asked for the info too. Glad I am not dealing with them anymore.

Service is pretty decent, but customer service is THE WORST

Posted on: June 8th, 2013 by Dave Hunt

If you live in Dallas, the service is pretty good. I recommend the LG motion phone as it is cheap and a real good Android phone. Realize though, if you ever need customer service you are hooped. You cannot get anyone on the phone and if you do chances are they will be a complete @ssh@le.I wonder if the UFC realizes this as they have them as a major sponsor. If you are on a budget, great phone service, but don't expect any help from them.

THE WORST!!!

Posted on: June 5th, 2013 by Chrisa Bono

The worst phone company ever!!!!!! DONT GO WITH THEM!!! THEY SUCK!!!!!! 1. They dont deliver messages 2. They have duplicate line numbers attached to your line 3. If you cant pay your bill this month, they will shut of your phone until you pay it, when you do even tho you havent used your phone for that time they will charge as you did use it! 4. Good luck on trying to reach and operator! and if you do you'll either get the non english speaking person or someone who will hang up on you after 1 hour of wait time!!

No issues. Until there's an issue.

This company sucks. I had them for two years, and then when I wanted to switch plans, a dealer (because they're all private dealers) told me I had to get a new number and pay a new activation fee. Then they deleted my online account and when I tried to sign up, told me my email was in use already. When I called customer support, I had to ask TEN TIMES for an agent to get the computer to send me to a person. The person who answered spoke English as a fifth language, admitted they don't require new activations to switch plans, apologized, and told me they weren't reimbursing me for the erroneous activation fee. I was pretty angry. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was put on hold for TWENTY minutes. I finally hung up and switched providers. They don't offer email support because they know they suck and they don't want to deal with it. They offer low priced plans, get a ton of people to switch to them, and tell you to suck it up when they make mistakes. Go with anyone else.
