Apple offers free repairs for iPhone 11 models with touch response issues

Heads up, iPhone 11 owners, because today Apple launched a special repair program for you.

The iPhone 11 Display Module Replacement Program for Touch Issues is now live. Apple says that there's a "small percentage" of iPhone 11 screens that might stop responding to touch because of a problem with the display module.

Devices affected with this issue were manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020. If you think your iPhone 11 was made during that time and it's having issues responding to touches, you can visit Apple's website to enter your serial number and see if your phone is eligible for the program. Apple says this repair program covers affected iPhone 11 devices for two years after the first retail sale of the device.

The touchscreen is the primary way that you interact with an iPhone 11, so this could be a pretty annoying issue if it affects your iPhone. Apple says it will service affected iPhone 11 models for free, so if you are having touch response issues, it's definitely worth checking to see if your device qualifies for a free repair.
