Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be fully revealed at September 1 event

During its Galaxy Note 20 event earlier this month, Samsung gave us a brief tease of the Galaxy Z Fold 2. Now the new foldable is getting its own special event.

Samsung will officially unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 2 at its Unpacked Part 2 event on September 1. The virtual event will kick off at 7:00 am PT / 10:00 am ET and it'll be livestreamed for everyone to watch.

Only a couple details of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 have been confirmed by Samsung so far, including its 7.6-inch main folding display and 6.2-inch outer screen. Rumors say that it could also be packing features like a Snapdragon 865 Plus processor, 12GB of RAM, 4500mAh battery, and 120Hz refresh rate support.

From what we've seen of it so far, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 looks like a major upgrade over the original model. Even just looking at the screens, the inner foldable display ditched the notch for a hole-punch camera to give you more screen real estate, and the outer display is much larger and has dropped the big bezels of the original Galaxy Fold.

Based on what we've seen of it so far, are you thinking about buying the Galaxy Z Fold 2?
