Google bringing games like Jeopardy! and MadLibs to smart displays

Earlier this month we saw Netflix finally make its way to the Nest Hub, marking the first time that the streaming service was available on a smart display. Now owners of smart displays are getting another nifty new feature.

Google announced today that it's bringing games to smart displays. There are a variety of games available that all take advantage of the screen as well as your voice and touch controls. All you have to do to play is say "Hey Google, let's play a game."

There are trivia games available like Jeopardy! and Trivia Crack as well as word games like the Puzzle of the Day crossword challenge and Categories Battle, which tasks you with coming up with items in a category that start with a certain letter, like animals that start with "P".

Another notable game is Guess the Drawing, which takes advantage of the smart display to show you a drawing in real-time and have you guess it as quickly as you can. There's new drawings every day as well as a party mode that has you competing against other players in real-time.

Other titles available to play on a smart display include MadLibs, a choose-your-own-adventure game called Talk to The Wiggles, and Escape the Room, which aims to give you the experience of an escape room on your smart display.

Google says it's planning to bring more new games to smart displays throughout the year.
