Galaxy Note 9, Amazon Fire tablets, Kindle e-readers, and more are on sale today

Mondays can be rough, but Amazon is hoping to make today a little better with deals on several tech devices.

First up is the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. While it's no longer the top-end flagship of Samsung's lineup, the Note 9 is still a solid phone with specs that ought to handle just about anything you throw at it, even close to two years after launch. And at today's sale price, it makes a great alternative to a new mid-range device.

The Note 9 includes a 6.4-inch 2960x1440 Super AMOLED display, 12MP Dual Pixel main camera and 12MP telephoto cam, a Snapdragon 845 processor, stereo speakers, IP68 water and dust resistance, and 4000mAh battery. Plus, it's got a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is something more recent Samsung flagships lack.

Also on sale today is Amazon's lineup of Android-powered Fire tablets. This includes both the normal Fire tablets as well as the Fire Kids Edition models that come with durable cases and educational content.

There are a couple of Fire TV devices being discounted today, including the Fire TV Stick 4K that offers an affordable way to add smarts to your TV plus the Fire TV Cube with Alexa built in.

Rounding out the Amazon device discounts are the Kindle and Kindle Paperwhite, which can help you get some summer reading done.
