Google and Samsung giving free phone repairs to first responders and healthcare workers

Having to get your phone repaired can be a pain, and that's especially true now during these trying times. For any first responders or healthcare workers who are helping to fight the spread of the coronavirus, Google and Samsung want to help make getting a repair easy.

First responders and healthcare professionals who have a Google Pixel or Samsung device that needs fixing can get a repair free of charge. Both companies are teaming up with uBreakiFix to provide free repairs at any of uBreakiFix's more than 500 US locations through June 30th.

Google Pixel owners can get a repair regardless of the device model or type of damage, including battery replacements, camera issues, speaker issues, screen damage, and even liquid damage in some cases. Folks with a Samsung Galaxy phone can also get repairs for cracked displays, battery replacement, and microphone or speaker replacement.

Samsung is also offering discounts of up to 30% off any purchases at Samsung.com for first responders and healthcare professionals.
