AT&T offering three months of free FirstNet service to physicians and nurses

While many of us are self-isolating at home to fight the spread of the coronavirus, there are many physicians and nurses still going to work every day to help treat those affected by COVID-19 and other ailments. To help show its appreciation for these people, AT&T is giving them free wireless service.

AT&T is now offering 3 months of free service on its FirstNet network to physicians and nurses. This offer is open to both new and existing AT&T customers and it does require that you complete a verification process within 30 days.

Customers who take advantage of this offer will get credits for 3 months of service on a FirstNet Mobile Responder plan for a smartphone or tablet.

In addition to this free service, AT&T is offering physicians and nurses a $200 credit when activating a new FirstNet Ready smartphone on a new FirstNet Mobile-Responder plan. This includes most recent phones such as the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max, Pixel 4 and 4 XL, Samsung Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 10 and 10+, and LG V60 ThinQ 5G.

FirstNet is an entirely different network from AT&T's normal network that's only for first responders. It prioritizes first responder voice and data so that regardless of how heavy the network usage is at any time, first responder calls and data will be connected.
