The stream of Apple leaks that began yesterday with info on iOS 14 mouse cursor support and new Apple Watch features continues to flow today with even more leaked info.
Code inside of iOS 14 suggests that the next iPad Pro will include a triple rear camera array. 9to5Mac claims that that'll include a wide angle lens, an ultra wide angle snapper, and a telephoto cam, plus a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor that could help with augmented reality features.
The current iPad Pro only has a single 12MP camera, but it was released back in late 2018. Now Apple has its iPhone 11 Pro with a triple rear camera setup with wide, ultra wide, and telephoto lenses, so it sounds like the new iPad Pro will get a similar pro camera treatment.
Today's leak also contains info about the upcoming iPhone 9/iPhone SE 2. This device will have a Touch ID fingerprint reader as well as Express Transit support, which is a feature of Apple Pay that lets you pay for your transit ride without needing to authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
iOS 14 hints that there's also a new Apple TV remote in the works. The existing Apple TV remote (shown below) is a major complaint about Apple's set-top box, so fans of the platform will be happy to hear that a new model is coming. We don't know what improvements the remote will have, but a new Apple TV box is rumored to be coming with an updated processor.
The final piece of Apple hardware info that's leaked today relates to the AirTag item trackers. We've heard rumors about this device before, and today's leak claims that you'll set up your AirTags largely through iOS and that their batteries will be user-replaceable.
A separate report from MacRumors today claims that Apple is working on a new fitness app for iPhone, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. The app is codenamed "Seymour" but may be named Fit or Fitness when released.
The big draw of this new fitness app is that users may be able to download guided fitness videos. These videos would cover a variety of workouts and would be viewable on an iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV, while the Apple Watch would track your workout.
The workouts may be offered for free, as there's no mention of in-app purchases in the code of this app. The fitness app will reportedly released later this year alongside iOS 14 and watchOS 7.
