Huawei today revealed its schedule for EMUI 10 updates, and some phones will be getting an upgrade very soon.
Starting this month, Huawei will push an EMUI 10 with Android 10 update to devices like the P30 Pro, P30, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20, Mate 20 X (4G), and Nova 5T (via 9to5Google). Owners of these devices should get a notification when the update is available, but they can also check manually by going into Settings > System > Software Update on their phone.
Even more devices will get an update to EMUI 10 later this year. They include:

The update to EMUI 10 is a big one. It includes a system-wide Dark Mode with UI adjustments to retain an optimal contrast between the text and background, more natural animations, and improved performance and security.
Huawei also touts that EMUI has a new UI taht "draws inspiration from the layout of magazines." That means that titles are given a larger font and a grid system is used for the UI elements to help make it better to navigate through the UI. App icons have been given a better look, too, and Huawei says that the Camera app has been updated for better ease of use.
