Sprint and Star Wars Galaxy Note 10 models now getting Android 10 update

Galaxy Note 10 owners on Sprint have had to sit by and watch their counterparts on other carriers get Android 10 over the past couple of weeks, but today it's their turn to update.

Sprint is now updating its Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ with Android 10 and One UI 2. The former phone is being updated to version N970USQU2BSL7, while the latter model is being bumped to version N985USQU2BSL7. The Star Wars edition of the Note 10+ is getting the update, too.

The update to Android 10 is more than 2GB in size, so be prepared for a big download when you finally do update.

As for what's included, this update is similar to the one that rolled out to Note 10 owners on AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. That means you Sprint customers can expect a better dark mode with adjustments to image, text, and color for day and night environments; clearer app icons and system colors; smoother animations; and new full screen navigation gestures.

Also packed into the update is a One UI improvement that automatically adjusts font colors based on light and dark areas of your wallpaper that should make text easier to read. You'll now get more information from the battery usage graph on your Note 10, and the Camera app now offers the ability to edit the modes that appear at the bottom of the screen.
