OnePlus has something planned for CES 2020.
OnePlus is hosting a "special event" at CES, which runs from January 7th through January 10th (via PCMag's Sascha Segan). There aren't any details about what OnePlus has planned for the event, but OnePlus CEO Pete Las has teased that the company will show "something special".
So what might OnePlus be planning? A January announcement for the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro seems too early since the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro were announced in May last year and the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro just launched two months ago. Rumors have suggested that OnePlus is making a new mid-range phone, so that's one possibility. It's also possible that OnePlus has an announcement planned that's not a phone, like some new earbuds or something.
