LG G8 ThinQ revealed in high-quality renders

There's been a lot of focus on Samsung's upcoming flagships lately, but LG has some new hardware coming soon, too, and today we're getting a good look at one of those devices.

The LG G8 ThinQ has leaked out in high-quality renders. Shared by Evan Blass, the images show every side of the G8 ThinQ. Overall the phone looks fairly similar to last year's LG G7 ThinQ, complete with a notch, dual rear camera setup, and rear fingerprint reader. One small change is that that dual rear camera setup is now laid out horizontally rather than vertically like it was on the G7.

Other details worth mentioning here are the ports on the bottom of the phone, confirming that the LG G8 ThinQ will include USB-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. We can also see the buttons on the sides of the device, which are likely for volume, power, and a dedicated Google Assistant button, similar to the layout on the LG G7 ThinQ.

LG did recently confirm the G8 ThinQ's name and the fact that it'll include Time-of-Flight technology in its front-facing camera. This ToF tech will help boost the LG G8 ThinQ's selfie capabilities as well as helping to give it better AR, VR, and security features. No other details about the LG G8 ThinQ have been confirmed, but with MWC 2019 happening later this month, LG could announce the device there.
