Nokia 9 PureView may be announced this month

We've gotten a few early looks at the Nokia 9 PureView in recenet months, but according to a new report, it may not be long before we're actually able to get one in our hands.

The Nokia 9 PureView will reportedly be announced at an event in Dubai by the end of January. It's also said that the device will launch in India sometime in February. However, there's no word yet on how much the Nokia 9 PureView might cost or when it'll be available outside of India.

Leaks have shown that the Nokia 9 PureView is a new high-end handset with five rear cameras. These five cameras will allegedly be able to capture five shots at once to gather more light and get you better low light images. It's also expected that you'll be able to adjust the focus of your photo after you capture it. As for the individual sensors, the Nokia 9 PureView's penta-lens setup will purportedly include a telephoto sensor, a wide angle camera, and a depth-sensing snapper.

Other rumored features of the Nokia 9 PureView include a 5.9-inch QHD+ screen with in-display fingerprint sensor, up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, water and dust resistance, a 4150mAh battery, and Android 9 Pie. HMD Global will allegedly stick a Snapdragon 845 processor in the Nokia 9 PureView, and while that's no longer the flagship Snapdragon chipset, it'll still offer solid performance.
