Samsung Galaxy Note 9 leaks shed light on pricing, S Pen features

More details on the Galaxy Note 9 have tricked out ahead of Samsung's big event later this week.

A new report from Winfuture.de includes some alleged pricing info for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 along with some promotional images. First up, it's said that the 6GB/128GB Galaxy Note 9 price will £899 ($1,164 USD) while the 8GB/512GB model will cost £1,099 ($1,423 USD). Pricing for the U.S. will likely be a little different, but that info does give us an idea of where the price for the Galaxy Note 9 will be.

Meanwhile, promotional images for the Galaxy Note 9 have shed some more light on the new flagship's features. The Bluetooth-enabled S Pen will reportedly let you do things like control your camera, presentations, and apps using a button on the stylus. It's said that the Note 9's S Pen includes 4096 pressure levels.

The Galaxy Note 9's dual rear cameras are said to be similar to those on the Galaxy S9+, with one 12MP wide angle lens offering variable aperture between f/1.5 and f/2.4 and the other 12MP sensor offering a 2x optical zoom. Samsung has reportedly made the Note 9's camera more intelligent, with the phone detecting what you're pointing the camera at and optimizing color settings as well as detecting blinks and blurs so that you can reshoot if necessary.

And then there's the Samsung DeX mode, which will allegedly be available without a dock. This means that you'll be able to plug your Galaxy Note 9 into a monitor and get a more PC-like experience.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will make its official debut on August 9th, and it's rumored that the phone could launch before the end of the month. Besides the features mentioned above, the Note 9 may include a Snapdragon 845 processor, 6.3-inch 2960x1440 display, and 4000mAh battery.
