Samsung Galaxy Note 9 reveal may happen on August 9th

If you're looking forward to Samsung's Galaxy Note 9, then we've got a date for you to circle on your calendar.

Samsung will announce the Galaxy Note 9 on August 9th, according to a report from Bloomberg. The device is expected to launch as soon as the end of August, which would be a couple of weeks earlier in the year than when the Galaxy Note 8 launched in 2017.

As for what features will be included in the Note 9, it's said that Samsung is focusing on upgrading the Galaxy Note 9's camera performance and also adding an upgraded Qualcomm processor. No specific chipset was named, but the Snapdragon 845 seems like a probable candidate.

The design itself of the Note 9 is said to be similar to the Note 8.

We'll have to wait until Samsung announces the Galaxy Note 9 before we know for sure what it'll be like, but the details included in today's report do make sense. The Galaxy S9 looked similar to the Galaxy S8, so it's definitely possibly that we'll see something similar from the Note 8 to the Note 9.

An upgraded processor and better camera performance for the Note 9 seem likely, too, especially since Samsung typically places a focus on the photography features of its Galaxy flagships.
