Google is kicking off the month of February with a solid deal on a new Android phone.
The Android One Moto X4 is getting a $150 discount on Google's Project Fi service. This discount will automatically be applied at checkout, but you must activate the Moto X4 within 30 days of its shipment or Google will charge the discounted amount to your Google Payments account.
The Android One version of the Moto X4 is similar to the standard Moto X4 when it comes to specs, boasting a 5.2-inch 1920x1080 display, dual rear cameras with one 12MP Dual Autofocus Pixel sensor and one 8MP wide angle sensor, a Snapdragon 630 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It's also got a 3,000mAh battery and a microSD card slot.
What's different is that the Android One Moto X4 runs a "pure Android experience". It recently got an update to Android Oreo and will be one of the first devices to be updated to Android P.
With this discount, the Android One Moto X4 is just $249. That's a pretty great price for a mid-range phone that's got pure Android and a guaranteed speedy update to Android P, especially since there aren't really any other small and affordable Android phones being sold by Google.
If you prefer a bigger phone, Google is offering $120 off the first generation Google Pixel XL. That brings it down to $549.
The discounts on the Android One Moto X4 and Google Pixel XL will be available through February 14.
