Instagram is rolling out a new feature today to help make its live broadcasts a bit more fun.
Starting today, September 21st, you can use face filters while streaming a live video. You just tap the face icon in the bottom right corner and view the different filters available. Instagram says that it’s got a new sunglasses face filter that’ll be available exclusively in live video for the next week.
You can apply these face filters before you start a live broadcast, letting you get a preview of what each filter looks like before you start sharing your video with the world. You can also apply face filters while your broadcast is happening.
Instagram says that face filters in live video will roll out globally over the coming weeks.
