Xiaomi Mi Note 3 comes equipped with 6GB of RAM and dual 12MP rear cameras

Alongside the new Mi Mix 2, Xiaomi today introduced another new Android phone called the Mi Note 3.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 features a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 display on its face along with a fingerprint reader below the screen and a 16-megapixel camera above it. That camera also includes Xiaomi’s Adaptable AI Beautify feature, which Xiaomi touts will give you a “realistic beauty effect without compromising on quality”.

Around back of Mi Note 3 is a pair of 12-megapixel cameras. One sensor features a wide angle lens while the other is a telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. These two cameras can be combined for a portrait mode that’ll give you photos a blurry, bokeh effect.

Other features crammed into the Mi Note 3’s glass body and metal frame include Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 660 processor, 6GB of RAM, an IR blaster, stereo speakers, 64/128GB of storage, facial recognition unlocking, and a 3500mAh battery that you recharge over USB-C.

While not quite as high-end as the Mi Mix 2, the Mi Note 3 offers a mix of high-end and mid-range specs in a more traditional but still attractive package. This combination of a more modest spec list and design helps to make the Mi Note 3 more affordable than the Mi Mix 2.

Xiaomi says that the Mi Note 3 will be priced at 2499 yuan ($383 USD) for the 6GB/64GB black version and 2899 yuan ($444 USD) for the 6GB/128GB black version. The special blue version of the Mi Note 3 comes equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and will be priced at 2999 yuan ($460 USD).
