It’s official: Apple’s new iPhone event is happening on September 12th.
Apple today sent out invitations for an event on September 12th, which it’ll hold in the Steve Jobs Theater at its new Apple Park campus in Cupertino, Calif. The invitation features a colorful Apple logo and the phrase “Let’s meet at our place.”
As with most Apple event invitations, there’s no mention about what Apple is planning to announce its September 12th event.
This upcoming event is expected to be a big one for Apple. The rumor mill says that Apple will announce three new iPhone models, including upgraded versions of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and an all-new iPhone 8 with an all-screen design. Also expected to be unveiled is a new Apple Watch with built-in LTE connectivity and an updated Apple TV with 4K video support.
