OnePlus 5 owners, an important update is now coming your way.
OnePlus has announced OxygenOS 4.5.6, a new update that fixes the bug that causes some OnePlus 5 units to reboot when dialing 911. This update is starting to roll out now and will incrementally hit more users in the days ahead.
A couple of days ago, it was discovered that some OnePlus 5 units would reboot when dialing 911, making it impossible for owners to contact emergency services. This is a big issue, and so it’s good that OnePlus was able to fix the bug and push out an update a couple of days after the problem was discovered.
