OnePlus 5 shown off in leaked image with dual rear camera setup

Hours after OnePlus confirmed that it will officially reveal the OnePlus 5 on June 20th, the phone has been unofficially revealed by the rumor mill.

A new image that claims to show the OnePlus 5 has been shared by Android Police. While we can only see the upper half of the device, we do get to see both its front and rear. There’s a dual rear camera setup with flash on the backside of the phone, and on the front we can see a front-facing camera and OnePlus’s “Never Settle” motto. We can also see what appear to be a mute switch, volume rocker, and power/lock button on the sides of the device.

When it comes to specs, we know that the OnePlus 5 will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor. Most of the phone’s other specs are still a mystery.

The big news here is that the OnePlus 5 will feature a dual rear camera setup (that looks a bit like the one on the iPhone 7 Plus). The dual rear camera setup is a popular feature in mobile lately, with flagships from Apple, LG, Huawei, and others offering the feature. We’ll have to wait to find out what kind of features the OnePlus 5’s dual rear camera setup has to offer, but possibilities include bokeh-style photos with blurry backgrounds and one lens with optical zoom.
