Amazon is currently selling the Echo Dot for $39.99, which is $10 off its normal price. This sale applies to both the black and white versions of the Echo Dot and will be available for a limited time.
The Echo Dot offers Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant, which can answer questions, set timers, tell you the weather, and more. Alexa also integrates with several services, including Uber, Spotify, Domino’s, Philips Hue, WeMo, Audible, and more. Amazon recently added support for Alexa calling and messaging to the Echo Dot, too.
It’s also worth noting that Amazon is still offering a discount on the refurbished version of the standard Echo, which is currently selling for $134.99.
