OnePlus is still a young company, and so sometimes it has to do things a little differently than other firms, like requiring you to have an invite to order one of its phones. This week, though, OnePlus will be improving the process of ordering one of its phones.
Starting tomorrow, January 24, OnePlus will roll out immediate dispatch for the OnePlus 3T Gunmetal 64GB in the EU and North America. This means that if you order a OnePlus 3T Gunmetal 64GB from OnePlus, your phone will ship out immediately, decreasing the amount of time that you’re tapping your foot at your mailbox and waiting for your new phone.
OnePlus cautions that it can’t guarantee that this feature will be around permanently, but that that is one of its goals.
As it has grown, OnePlus has worked to improve its sales methods. The OnePlus 3 launched without an invite system like the one used with previous launches, and now OnePlus is working to step things up again with immediate dispatch. While the feature isn’t permanent yet, it is a big step for OnePlus, and hopefully the company can learn from its experience and make it permanent soon.
