Google app update rolling out, splits your cards into two feeds

Heads up, Android users, because a notable Google app update is coming your way.

Google today announced a new update for its Google app that’ll split the feed of cards into two sections. The first will be a feed that’ll keep you up-to-date on all of your interests, including sports, news, and entertainment.

Google also says that it’s rolling out a new card in this first feed that’ll let you select topics that you’d like to get more info. This card will appear first in the US and roll out to other countries in the coming months.

The second feed will be all about you. Your personal info will appear here, with details pertaining to any flights you might have coming up, package delivery info, travel time for your commute, your daily schedule, and more.

You’ll be able to swap between these two feeds using two buttons at the bottom of your display.

This Google app update is now rolling out on Android, and Google says that it’s coming soon to iOS.

With this update, Google appears to be making it easier for you to get to the information you care about at any given time. Sometime you may care more about getting right to your flight info or your package delivery info, and other times you might want to quickly jump to your favorite team’s score. This new Google app update aims to help you with in both situations.
