Motorola Moto M shown in image leak, said to have 5.5-inch display and 16-megapixel camera

Motorola has released several different Moto models to date, including the Moto X, Moto G, Moto E, and Moto Z. Now it looks like the Moto family will soon gain another new member.

A newly-leaked image claims to show the Moto M. According to French blog Nowhereelse.fr, the Moto M will offer a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 display, 16-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front cameras, and a fingerprint reader resting below the rear camera.

Expected to be packed inside the Moto M’s metal shell is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a microSD slot for adding even more storage if you’d like. There’s reportedly a 3,050mAh battery powering this package, as well as a USB Type-C port for recharging that battery.

It’s said that the Moto M could launch in China on November 8, so we could see an official announcement early next week.

The Moto M looks like a respectable new device from Lenovo and Motorola. Its spec list is pretty solid, and the metal body will help to give it a premium feel. While the Moto M may not have the Moto Mods available to the Moto Z family, this device could be a good option for folks that are interested in a Moto device but don’t really care about snapping modules onto the back of their phone.
