Apparently T-Mobile is in the data-giving mood, because one month after announcing free unlimited high-speed data for its customers that are roaming in Europe, it’s now announced a similar offer for those going to Brazil next month.
T-Mobile’s Brazil Unleashed promotion will give free unlimited high-speed data to Simple Choice postpaid customers going to the Rio 2016 Olympics. Also included will be free calling from Brazil to Mexico as well as free texting. All of these offers will begin on August 1 and last through the month.
Traveling to Rio de Janeiro alone is a pretty big deal for most of us, but it’s even more huge when you’re going there for the Olympic Games. With this new offer, T-Mobile customers that are going to Rio will be able to share photos, call loved ones, and generally stay connected at the high data speeds that they’re accustomed to for free, which is a nice deal.
In addition to its free unlimited high-speed data offer, T-Mobile has announced that it’ll be giving 100 family members of U.S. Olympic athletes a free gift package. They’ll receive T-Mobile service, a Galaxy S7 edge, and a Gear 360 camera through October.
