Swiftmoji keyboard from SwiftKey will suggest emoji to pair with your text

SwiftKey today took the wraps off of its first new product since being acquired by Microsoft earlier this year.

Swiftmoji is a new keyboard app that aims to predict emoji to go with the words that you’ve just typed. The app can read the context of what you’ve typed and also takes into account worldwide emoji trends to offer emoji suggestions that’ll pair well with your words. For example, if you type Beyoncé, Swiftmoji will suggest the crown and bee emoji for “Queen Bey.”

Swiftmoji is available for both Android and iOS. On Android, Swiftmoji also supports theme colors and learning your emoji habits for better predictions. The Swiftmoji keyboard is currently only available in English.

Emoji are super popular right now, but there are a ton of different emoji available, and so it can be annoying to have to hunt down the right emoji to fit with your text. Swiftmoji addresses that issue by suggesting several emoji that it thinks will fit well with what you’ve typed. Apple has its own emoji suggestion feature coming to Messages in iOS 10, but if you don’t feel like waiting until iOS 10’s public launch in the fall — of if you’re on Android — you can grab Swiftmoji right now.
