Google Play Days sale offering discounts on Android apps, music, movies, and books

Android users, Google Play is running a big sale with some deals on apps, music, movies, and books that may interest you.

The Play Days sale is offering nice discounts on a lot of content for Android devices. For example, there are a number of apps being sold for $0.99. Those include Nova Launcher Prime, the pro version of one of the most popular third-party launchers around, as well as Poweramp Full Version Unlocker music player. Other discounted apps include djay 2, Toca Hair Salon 2, FlightTrack 5, and Runtastic Road Bike PRO.

If you’re looking for other kinds of entertainment, Google is offering discounted music, like Green Day’s American Idiot album for $0.99, Meghan Trainor’s Title album for $7.99, and Linkin Park’s Hybrid Theory album for free. Google is offering discounts on select movies, too, including a promo code for 50 percent off the price of any one movie rental. Meanwhile, Google is also offering extended previews of several books, letting you read half of the qualifying books for free.

There are some nice deals to be had with this Play Days sale. One of my favorite deals is on Nova Launcher Prime, which unlocks more Nova Launcher features like gestures, unread count badges, hiding apps from the drawer, and more. And even if you’re using the free version of Nova Launcher and don’t care about those features, you could still spring for Nova Launcher Prime as a way to show your appreciation to the app’s developers.

If you grab any discounted apps, movies, music, or books from the Play Days sale, be sure to let us know what you got!
