Moto X Pure Edition owners, an update is coming your way.
Motorola is now pushing a small security update to both the Moto X Pure Edition and Moto X Style. The update weighs in at around 6MB, and it includes Android security patches for February 2016. Motorola has also thrown in a kernel update to address a moderately severe vulnerability.
Security updates are important, and so it’s good that Motorola is pushing Google’s latest Android security patches to its current flagship. If you’ve got a Moto X Pure Edition or Style, you’re going to want to keep an eye out for this update. To try and pull it manually, head into Settings > About phone > System updates.
