After announcing expanded availability for the OnePlus X Champagne edition last week, OnePlus today shed more light on how folks will be able to get a hold of one.
As expected, the OnePlus X Champagne will be sold during the OnePlus X open sales, which take place every Tuesday. However, OnePlus will only have 2500 units of the Champagne model — and 500 Ceramic units — available each week. The Champagne unit is now available in Europe, and it’s expected to hit North America in January.
The Champagne version of the OnePlus X is largely similar to the Onyx version that’s been available since last month, offering a 5-inch 1920x1080 AMOLED display, Snapdragon 801, 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front-facing shooter. The differences are that the Champagne version has white front and back panels and gold trim, while the Onyx model has black front and rear panels and silver trim.
The OnePlus X Champagne will cost the same as the Onyx version, meaning that it’s €269 in Europe and that it’ll be $249 in North America.
