When Samsung Pay launched to the public, Samsung ran a promotion that gave any Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ owners a free wireless charging pad or flip cover for activating Samsung Pay on their device. Now that promo is back, but it’s been extended to more devices.
If you own a Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, or Galaxy Note 5 and activate a qualifying credit or debit card with Samsung Pay, Samsung will give you a free wireless charging pad. The offer is valid between October 28 and November 8.
Once you’ve activated a card, you’ll need to head to the Samsung Promotions website and enter your contact info as well as the IMEI and Wi-Fi MAC address of your phone. That information must be submitted by 11:59 pm ET on November 15.
Samsung’s wireless charging pad normally costs $49.99, so this is a pretty nice deal for simply attaching a card to your Samsung Pay account. It’s also nice to see Samsung extend the promo to Galaxy S6 and S6 edge owners after leaving them out of the last promo. Owners of smaller phones like to charge wirelessly, too!
It’s also worth mentioning that Samsung is offering another promo exclusively for Sprint customers. Those folks on Sprint that buy a Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, and Note 5 and then activate Samsung Pay and add a card to it can get a $50 bill credit. This promo runs from October 15 through November 30.
