LG V10 bringing its dual displays to AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon

The LG V10 may have been announced last night, but there’s still some news to come out of LG’s event in New York City today.

The LG V10 will be available in the US on AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. As of this writing, none of the three carriers have announced launch or pricing details.

As a refresher, here are the LG V10’s specs:

  • 5.7-inch 2560x1440 main display
  • 2.1-inch 160x1040 secondary display
  • Hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor
  • 16-megapixel rear camera
  • Dual 5-megapixel front cameras
  • 64GB of storage
  • microSD slot
  • 4GB of RAM
  • Fingerprint sensor
  • NFC
  • LTE
  • 3000mAh removable battery
  • Stainless steel frame with Dura Skin material on bottom and rear
  • Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

The LG V10 has a few main features that the Life’s Good crew like to highlight. The first is the secondary display above the main display, which can be used to display info like weather, time, date, and battery level all of the time, or you can get alerts or app shortcuts. Then there are the dual front cameras. You can use one to take a regular 80 degree selfie or use both simultaneously to capture a 120-degree wide-angle selfie.

Finally, LG has bundled several camera and video features into the V10’s software. Those include Steady Record, which uses electronic image stabilization to smooth out your video recording, and 15 Second Auto Edit, which will eliminate blurry frames and static scenes from your video to create a 15-second highlight clip. Other features include Wind Noise Filter, Quick Share, Audio Monitor, and Manual Video Mode.
