Amazon Fire phone drops to $159, one year of Prime included

Amazon Fire phone sales are a pretty common occurrence, and today another one has started. What’s notable about this sale, though, is that it knocks the Fire phone down to the lowest price we’ve seen yet.

You can now buy the Amazon Fire phone for $159 without a commitment, and as usual, that includes one free year of Amazon Prime. Since a year of Prime costs $99, that means that you’re basically getting the Fire phone for $60. That free year of Prime is good for existing subscribers, too.

In terms of connectivity, the Fire phone offers HSPA 850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, and 2100MHz, as well as LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 17, and 20. That means that it’ll play nicely with AT&T and T-Mobile, though T-Mo subscribers won’t get access to LTE band 12, which offers better building penetration than T-Mo’s other bands.

At $159, are any of you going to pull the trigger on an Amazon Fire phone?
