The OnePlus One has always been a pretty affordable device, but this week it’s going to be even cheaper.
OnePlus has announced a new “Flash Sale experiment” that’s going to run from June 1 through June 7. Each day, both the 16GB and 64GB OnePlus One variants will be available at a discount price, but they’ll be offered in a “very limited quantity.” Pricing for the 16GB model will be $249/£179, while the 64GB model will be $299/£219. Typically they cost $299/$349.
To ensure that everyone gets a shot at a discounted OnePlus One, the phone will be offered at a couple of different times throughout the week. Here’s the schedule of when the discounts will be available:
- June 1 - 12:00 GMT (8 am EST)
- June 2 - 2:00 GMT (10 pm EST -1 day)
- June 3 - 12:00 GMT (8 am EST)
- June 4 - 2:00 GMT (10 pm EST -1 day)
- June 5 - 12:00 GMT (8 am EST)
- June 6 - 2:00 GMT (10 pm EST -1 day)
- June 7 - 12:00 GMT (8 am EST)
While the OnePlus One isn’t the newest Android phone on the block, and its successor is due to be unveiled soon, it’s still a nicely-specced smartphone. And at $249 without a commitment, it should be one of the first devices that anyone on the hunt for a new, affordable handset looks at.
