AT&T Galaxy Note 4 now getting hefty Android 5.0 update

It’s time for Android 5.0 to hit another flagship smartphone.

AT&T says that starting today, March 24, it’s rolling Android 5.0 to its version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The update is beefy, weighing in at 1.2GB in size, and so you’ll need to be connected to Wi-Fi to download it. AT&T’s changelog for the update is as follows:

Android 5.0 (Lollipop)
Service additions:

  • Find My Mobile
  • Reactivation lock

Stability improvements

With the update to Lollipop, you AT&T Note 4 owners are going to get all of the Material Design goodies that come with a bump to Android 5.0, including updated notifications. If you’ve got an AT&T Note 4 and you’re on a Wi-Fi connection, you can check for this update by heading into Settings > About device > Software update > Check for updates.

Be sure to let us know when your Lollipop update arrives!
