When it comes to HTC hardware, much of the focus right now is on the One M9. We’re switching things up a bit today, though, because the One M8 is now getting a nice update.
Verizon has posted the support documents (PDF) for its HTC One M8’s Android 5.0 update. Included are most of the Lollipop goodies that you’ve come to expect like Material Design-style notifications and an updated Recent Apps feature, as well as Band 4 roaming and enhanced 3-way calling. The full changelog is available at the bottom of this post.
Verizon’s One M8 may be getting its taste of Lollipop a bit later than other versions of the device, but hey, it’s here now and it’s brought some notable changes with it. If you’ve got a One M8 with a Verizon tattoo on its backside, you can check for this update by heading into Settings > Phone Update > Check for Update.
