If you’re a BlackBerry Messenger user, the folks at BlackBerry have an update that ought to help end your week on a good note.
BlackBerry says that it’s started to push BBM version 2.6 to Android, iOS and BlackBerry. The list of tweaks included in these updates looks like this:
iOS 8, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus support
Android 5.0 Lollipop support with new landscape mode
D and R markings on photos
Increased maximum length of timed messaged up to 60 seconds, timed images can be viewed multiple times as long as timer is still active
Send stickers in group chat
BBM on BlackBerry 10 supports sending multiple images and attachments at the same time
BlackBerry also notes that all of its BBM sticker packs are on sale for $0.99 USD. This sale will run “for a limited time.”
This looks like a pretty spiffy update for you BBM users, whether you’re on Android, iOS and BlackBerry. It’s good to see BlackBerry continuing to show support for other platforms by updating its BBM app for the newest versions of Android and iOS.
