Samsung Power Sharing Cable lets you transfer power from one device to another

If you carry multiple smart devices around while you’re out and about, you know that it can be a pain to keep them all charged up and ready to go. Today Samsung announced that it’s got a new accessory to solve that problem.

The Samsung Power Sharing Cable lets you transfer battery power from your Galaxy device to any microUSB hardware. Users download Samsung’s Power Sharing app from the Google Play Store or Samsung Apps, which lets you control how much juice is transferred between the two devices, then plug the cable in to both products and transfer away.

The Power Sharing Cable is now available from Samsung’s online store for $19.99. It could be an option for folks that want to keep a smartwatch or other device juiced up without having to carry around an external battery pack.
