So there’s Huawei’s IFA 2014 announcements. The flagship Ascend Mate7 looks like a pretty high-end handset, though I’m guessing that its size may be a bit much for some folks. Meanwhile, Huawei went for a premium look with its metal Ascend G7 and then jumped on the emerging sapphire bandwagon with its special edition Ascend P7. Then there’s the EMUI 3.0 UI, which looks fairly clean and appears to have a pretty consistent look and feel.
