The leaks surrounding the Moto X successor have been steadily trickling out for months now, including rumors surrounding its name and carrier support. Today those leaks continue with a date on which we could finally see the new X on shelves.
Sources speaking to Droid-Life claim that Verizon currently expects the new Moto X to launch “by September 25.” For those that are curious, that date is a Thursday, which is the day of the week that Verizon typically releases new hardware.
Motorola previously said that the follow-up to the Moto X would arrive in the “late summer,” while a rumor report suggested that it could launch in the “last days of September.” While summer technically ends on September 22, Motorola could slip the new Moto X in just a couple of days after that, or possibly launching it earlier on one carrier and then pushing it to others a little later on.
Are you looking forward to the next Moto X? What features would make it a “must-buy” for you?
