AT&T flips 4G LTE switch in California, Georgia and other states

Your Thursday is about to get a lot better, AT&T customers, because the big blue carrier has officially flipped its 4G LTE switch in several new markets across the U.S.

AT&T recently announced that its LTE network is now live in cities located in Georgia, California and more. The newly-lit markets are:

  • Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-Goleta, Calif.
  • LaGrange, Ga.
  • Warsaw, Ind.
  • Casper, Wyo.

Today’s expansion is another step in AT&T’s goal of having its LTE network “substantially complete” by the summer of 2014. Those of you that already live in an AT&T LTE network shouldn’t let these LTE network expansions get you down, though, because you still have AT&T’s improved LTE-A network with carrier aggregation to look forward to.
