After beefing up the data allotments of its GoPhone smartphone plans back in April, AT&T today announced that it’s improving its prepaid offerings once again.
AT&T says that customers can now add a tablet to its prepaid GoPhone plans. The big blue carrier has three different data plans available: a 250MB plan for $15 per month, a 3GB plan for $30 per month and a 5GB plan for $50 per month. AT&T also sells a GoPhone SIM card kit for $9.99.
It’s worth noting that in order to buy a GoPhone tablet data plan, you’ll need a compatible tablet. The full list of compatible devices is as follows:
It’s great to see AT&T continue to expand its GoPhone offerings, especially now that consumers can get prepaid data on a tablet. We’ve been seeing cellular tablets get a lot of love from carriers lately, and now AT&T folk can get 4G LTE data on their slate on a monthly basis. Here’s to hoping that Ol’ Blue expands its list of GoPhone-compatible tablets in the near future.
