It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from Toshiba, but today the ‘Tosh ended that silence with a trio of new tablets.
Toshiba today took the wraps off of three new tablet devices: the Excite Go running Android and two Encore 2 models that are powered by Windows 8.1. Here are the spec breakdowns for all three units:

Obviously Toshiba is aiming at the affordable tablet market with its new trio of devices. While their specs aren’t going to blow your hair back, especially those rather low-res displays, these Excite and Encore 2 slates could be worth checking out for anyone that’s on the hunt for a new tablet that’ll be easy on the wallet.
