Google Now card will alert you when a product that you've searched for is at a nearby shop

Google has been showing an awful lot of love to its Search app lately, beefing it up with new features like Parking Location, camera voice commands, a “Play Music” voice command and more. The Google Search update train shows no signs of slowing down, as El Goog announced today that it’s adding yet another new feature to Google Now.

On its official Google+ page, Google has revealed that it has created a Google Now card that will show you when a product that you’ve searched for online is in stock at a nearby brick and mortar store. The reminder will show an image of the product, its name and its price.

Just as with the other cards and features that’ve been added to Google Now recently, this new retail product card sounds like it’ll come in pretty handy. Your wallet may not love all of the additional impulse purchases that may result from this card’s arrival, but hey, what has that guy ever done for you besides taking up space in your pocket or purse?
