It’s been a while since we’ve heard any juicy BlackBerry 10.3 news, but today that drought is ending thanks to the appearance of a BB10.3 screenshot.
The image you see above was posted to the BBM Channel of Michael Clewley, who has been responsible for other BlackBerry 10 leaks. This home screen screenshot doesn’t reveal a ton of new details on BlackBerry 10.3, but it does show that the update will rid BlackBerry 10 of the boxes around its app icons. Some of the app icons themselves have gotten a bit of a facelift as well.
The removal of the boxes that surround BlackBerry 10’s app icons may not sound like a huge deal, but as this screenshot shows, their absence makes the BB10.3 home screen look much more clean and attractive. In addition to the death of the app boxes, BlackBerry 10.3 is rumored to feature an intelligent personal assistant, camera tweaks and more.
