Sony: Xperia T, TX, V and SP to begin receiving Android 4.3 in late Jan., early Feb.

After promising Android 4.3 updates for the Xperia T, TX, V and SP back in November, Sony today shed a bit more light on when owners of that Xperia quartet will actually begin receiving their next serving of Jelly Bean. Over on its official mobile-focused Twitter account, Sony explained that it's currently making the final preparations on the updates and that the software should begin rolling out at the end of January or beginning of February.

The last major update that the Xperia T, TX and V received was to Android 4.1 in early 2013, and the Xperia SP launched with 4.1 in mid-2013, so the news of this impending update to Android 4.3 is pretty exciting for anyone that's rocking one of these four devices as their daily driver. The updates have certainly been a long time coming, but I bet that many users will forget about the months of waiting once that "Software update available" alert pops up in their notification panel. Stay tuned and I'll give you a shout once these update rollouts get underway.
