Motorola to offer no contract Moto X with $150 discount on Cyber Monday

Much of Motorola's focus has been on the Moto G lately, with the company taking to Brazil to introduce the device and then launching it in various countries around the globe in the past week or so. Moto hasn't forgotten about the Moto X, though, announcing today that the X will get its own time in the spotlight on Cyber Monday.

Motorola just revealed on its official Google+ page that it will be knocking $150 off the price of any no contract Moto X on Monday, Dec. 2. That includes units made with Moto Maker and the Developer Editions, which regularly start at $499.99 and $549.99, respectively. That means that once Monday rolls around, a 16GB Moto X with Moto Maker customizations will cost $349.99 without a contract.

The Moto X originally launched back in August with an off-contract starting price of $579.99, so being able to snag a 16GB Moto X at a no contract price of just $349.99 is a pretty good deal. The fact that that includes Moto Maker customizations is especially nice, and while it looks like those folks waiting for a wooden Moto X will miss out on the Cyber Monday discount, the upcoming sale looks like the best time for anyone else that's been on the fence about buying a Moto X to finally go through with the purchase. Motorola says that supplies for Monday's sale will be limited, so you'd best start planning out your customizations now.
