Over the last several years, devices like portable battery packs, power banks, and case-battery pack combos have gained a good amount of attention from consumers.  Today, we use our mobile devices more than ever, and while battery sizes seem to be growing, we still seem to find ourselves in those unlucky situations where the screen suddenly goes dark and your epic run on Robot Unicorn Attack 2 is cut short.  It's sad circumstances like this that bring customers into stores or online to shop for ways to extend that precious battery life.  Today we'll take a look at the LiBa 10,400 mAh Portable Power Bank to see if this device can help out those suffering from a serious lack of battery power.

The LiBa Portable Power Bank is an impressive 10,400 mAh rechargeable portable source of power for mobile devices.  Whether its iPhones, Android devices, iPads, or Kindles, the LiBa Power Bank has enough power storage to at least double the battery life of your tablets, and recharge your phone anywhere from three to six times.  The unit has one USB output rated for 2.1A, and a second USB output rated for 1A; so that users can charge iPads and mobile phone devices appropriately.

If two outputs are just not enough for you, the LiBa also has one Micro USB output in the form of a cable that is neatly tucked away along the sides of the unit.  When charging my phone for the last week, I found myself using this very accessible and convenient output the most, and if I may say so this is by far one of my favorite features of the device.

Along with the unit itself, users will get one micro USB cable that doubles as a 30 pin iPhone connection.  The extra cable is nice for those looking to charge a couple devices at once, or for those with older generation Apple products.  Unfortunately, the package does not include a Lightning adapter or AC wall charger for the unit itself, so charging the LiBa means plugging it in to the computer or an extra wall charger. Using the LiBa Power Bank is also very easy.  Simply connect your device to the unit and hit the power button.  The device has four LED lights to show how much power is left on the LiBa, so  you won't find yourself guessing how many more times you could charge your device.  You can charge more than one device at a time on the LiBa, but note that you cannot charge the power bank and another device at the same time.

When it comes to product presentation, the LiBa Portable Power Bank is one of the better looking power solutions out there.  I have seen some crazy designs that look awkward, take up too much space, and just feel cheap.  My first reaction when handling the LiBa was that this was not a cheap device.  It feels heavy and powerful.  It doesn’t have arm attachments or connections hanging off the sides, and it shows off a nice and clean square design.  The idea is to be portable and powerful and that is exactly what it is.  Whether you're looking at the tucked away Micro USB output cable, or the bright LED power indicators, this is very nice looking and well designed device.

Wrap-Up

The Good: The device has a great look and design, stores more power than your average power bank, and I love the hidden Micro USB output cable.

The Bad: Does not include an AC wall adapter, and it would be nice to have current Apple connections or adapters.

The Verdict:  Overall, I love the LiBa Portable Power Bank.  The design is great and cool looking, and the easy to use functionality mixed with the durable heavy feel is an awesome combination.  I often see people settle for power banks give maybe one extra charge, but with the LiBa I haven't plugged my phone into the wall for days now.  For anyone who finds themselves running around away from wall outlets, or for that person that's traveling or constantly on the go, do your battery a favor and pick up the LiBa 10400mAh Portable Power Bank.
