HTC isn't done giving members of its One family some new paint jobs quite yet. Today U.K. retailer Phones 4u announced that it plans to launch a new "Glamour Red" version of the HTC One mini that, save for the accent colors on the top and bottom of its backside, looks like a shrunken version of the red HTC One that launched back in July. The red One mini is expected to go on sale exclusively at Phones 4u next month.
The HTC One mini followed in its big sibling's footsteps by donning a blue outfit last month, and so it's not totally surprising to see that history will repeat itself and that the One mini will come to market in the same red hue as the original One. It's always good to have more color options when shopping for a new smartphone, though, and so it's good to see HTC giving shoppers more choice when it comes to the One line.
There's no word yet on when or if this red One mini will make its way to other parts of the globe. However, the red HTC One eventually spread to places like Sprint in the U.S. after it was first introduced by Phones 4u, and so it's certainly possible that we could eventually see the red One mini make its way outside of the U.K. Stay tuned and I'll give you a shout if any more details emerge.
